Programs & Services

Program Overview

“The online equipment reports provided by SU Group have enabled management to pinpoint areas of equipment failures so we can make informed decisions relating to new equipment purchases”. Chief Financial Officer, Regional Bank

SU Group LLC does not repair equipment, and has no vested interest in any Manufacturer’s equipment or service vendor. By specializing in equipment maintenance management, we know the appropriate market costs of preventative maintenance and repair for virtually every piece of equipment. We are experienced at managing the repair process effectively and efficiently, thereby maximizing your maintenance dollar while minimizing the amount of time spent on administrative duties.

Due to the cumbersome task of compiling mass amounts of data on current maintenance delivery systems, SU Group will provide, without a fee, the resources to do a complete analysis of your organization’s current expenditures including:

  • Equipment service contracts
  • Time and materials expense relating to equipment maintenance
  • In-house repair staff compensation & levels of expertise
  • Equipment currently under manufacturer’s warranty

As a result of our analysis of the overall equipment maintenance expenditures, SU Group will make recommendations in the form of a Cost Reduction Initiative. This Initiative will identify which are the most cost effective vehicles for you to adopt. The recommendations may include a portion or combination of:

  • Risk transfer (from Contract to Time & Materials)
  • Performance Contracting (Contract to newly negotiated contract)
  • Third party administration options

SU Group Programs typically deliver cost savings of 10%-30% less than traditional service contracts while delivering the same or improved coverage, fixed annual budgets, more control and efficiencies and on-going management reporting.

Program Objectives

“We have saved money by using SU Group without giving up the same quality of maintenance service by using the manufacturer’s service contract.” Senior Fiscal Coordinator, County Utilities

SU Group LLC believes that the objectives of a meaningful equipment maintenance program should be to outsource the maintenance and administration of corrective repair procedures for select equipment types throughout your organization.

The program must be more cost-effective than the current maintenance system, and be able to provide administrative efficiencies to participating departments or affiliates. The designated outcomes should include:

  • Flexible maintenance program options
  • A financially guaranteed equipment maintenance budget
  • The ability to use your current or choice of service providers
  • The evaluation of current vendor service in order to make recommendations that will improve the quality of maintenance services and minimize equipment downtime
  • The development of database intelligence by selected equipment to include
    • Extensive management reporting
    • Repair history including cost of service
    • All service provider activity whether internal or external
    • Overall equipment performance allowing management to make total lifecycle decisions
  • A reduction in current maintenance costs and administrative duties
