Market Specialist
We are looking for a competent Market Specialist to maintain and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in and customer service, a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach.
The primary purpose of this position is to renew existing accounts while strengthening relationships and capturing vertical growth opportunities. The Market Specialist will assist other market segment personnel to achieve client satisfaction, market segment growth, and profitability.
Responsibilites
- Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas.
- Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of a Maintenance Service Agreement (MSA) including addendums and Insurance Policy including endorsements.
- Perform and/or assist in client surveys and submission process and work with internal Departments to develop quote or initiative.
- Assist in implementation plan according to corporate policy and procedures.
- Assist in policy or contract production and delivery.
- Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty by building and maintain relationships with clients through regular contact.
- Renew accounts according to corporate policies and individual goals.
- Identify and capture vertical growth opportunities.
- Respond and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Assist in collection of receivables.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
- Provide Business Manager with regular reports on renewal activity and progress of vertical growth opportunities within market segment portfolio.
- Perform monthly/quarterly QBR’s to client.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, or similar sales/customer service role
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office;
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- A business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- This role is 100% in house and requires no travel.
- BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
